BRP has launched a new ultra-light REV-XP platform for its Ski-Doo snowmobiles. These snowmobiles were already the lightest in the market, but this new platform has further reduced their weight making them 10-15% lighter then the previous model. Making things light has only made the machine stronger as its chassis will now be 37% stronger than the previous model. The result of the technology is that the 2008 MX Z Adrenaline 600 H.O SDI will weigh just 194Kgs. The new platform has changed the snowmobile from skis to rear bumper. Still the company has retained the critical REV DNA such as a driver-centered riding position and centralized mass. Interested people will have to wait until next week for the full details of this new line-up. Via: Gizmag
